Apartment Review for Citation Club At Palmer Ranch - Sarasota, FL

I have been here for almost 1 yr 7 mths and after my first 2 months here it was hell. We have had 3 managers and every 30 days new staff in the office. The current manager or staff could care less about problems. Maintenance is horrible, work orders take days. The place is falling apart. My unit has walls that are dry rotted. The outside of the apartments are also falling apart. All the appliance in my unit are at least 5 years old. My stove does not cook even and my dish washer will not clean dishes. I reported it and they tell me they are fine. Dont even think about using the pool or the spa, the health department has closed it a number of times, because it was unsafe. The gym equipment is always broken and they say they dont have to fix as it is an amenity. The major issue now is Rats, at night when we are sleeping we can hear Rats in the walls. This place is infested with Rats in the walls and celling. I can be watching TV at night and rats will run across the floor. They are letting us out of our lease because of Rats, but are making us stay the whole month as they will not refund the rest of the month. I am in building 16. If you can move some where else. You will not be happy here. March 8, 2009
