Apartment Review for The Lexington Apartments - Sarasota, FL

Don't live here! I am currently in a legal battle with the Lexington. They are liars and will say anything to screw over the common person. In their lease it states that you have to give 60 days notice before leaving, which we did, and they are trying to say we didn't and that we owe a whole other month's rent! If anyone else has had anything like this happen to them and would like justice, speak up and get a lawyer! Seriously, if enough people take action, the Lexington will get shut down and won't be able to continue doing this. I'm also reporting them to the better business bureau and the Attorny General and I'm telling anyone I can! don't let corporations continue to do whatever they want to the average person. And besides all that, the rooms are overpriced, we didn't even have hook ups for a washer/dryer and their laundry room is disgusting, there are roaches crawling around and there aren't enough washers, plus it closed at nine o'clock. The parking lot is absolutely dangerous, it should be a one way with how small the drive is, and the office people were incredibally unprofessional and uncaring. But seriously if anyone else has had shoddy things happen to them, email me and help to make the community a better place without those corporate monsters.
