Apartment Review for Turnbury Park Apartments - Sarasota, FL

nothing like paying a premium rate for a place like this. This 'gated' community is anything but. The gates have worked 3 weeks out of the last 5 months. The building hallways smell like animal feces and have not been cleaned in 5 months. Poor insulation creates astronomical power bills. Landscaping is dead and never gets replaced...but they continue to spend dollars overwatering....especially while it is raining!!! Carpet in my particular unit is disgusting. When you spill something and use a little resolve to clean up your mess, you realize how dirty the carpets are...your little spot is the cleanest part of the carpet. overall, i dont feel safe, especially after hearing of everything that has happened here over the years (burglaries, rapes, and to top it off a murder today). I cant wait to get out of here!
